Happy New Year! I am somewhat catching up now, haha~ And as warm as the picture looks, it’s gotten cooold because winter is upon us! I hope everyone had a lovely holiday! It’s been great getting to spend time with family and friends, and I’m thankful for every one of them.

Anywho, I’ve been really into cowl necks lately. And this shirt, my mother actually picked out for me to try. Go Mom! It’s really comfy and has got some sparkle in it too, which is nice and festive. And another new addition would be the silver flats! I’m usually the type to go for black as the default color of a lot of shoes… But when I saw these on sale at Urban Outfitters, I thought I’d give them a shot. And I must say, I wasn’t disappointed. And I’ve added quite a few other things to my collection, including a new watch! I always felt a bit more efficient wearing one and during an anniversary trip with my boyfriend, we decided to splurge a bit and treat ourselves. ❤I also had to get new glasses because my old ones broke! But I’m happy with this new pair, by Betsey Johnson! I love the little hearts and the sides have blue accents.

Time to jump into 2012! I’m ready to start out this new year strong.

Until next time,
TK

What I Wore: Wintergreen

13 Jun

To kick things off, I’ll start with a WIW! These are some older pictures (obvious by the seasonal differences, heh) of an outfit I had in the winter. I intended to create the blog much sooner… But I had some trouble getting things started. So… better late than never, right?

Scarf: Chinatown
Dress: Forever21
Bag: PG Beauty (YesStyle)
Boots: Dollhouse (Ross)

It was a really snowy winter this past year! And when you are done driving/working in it, and shoveling all of it… it certainly can be quite beautiful out, haha~ It makes for really nice lighting too, heh. Nothing super fancy about this outfit but I really like the hooded dress, partially because I got it for pretty cheap when I purchased it. It wasn’t the most flattering because it ties above the waist so I fixed it a bit with the belt. And I love my green frilly scarf, it’s super comfy. I ❤ green.

It might've been just a bit cold out, hehe.
